2300 / 2400 CLASS TOOLING UPDATE
We are delighted to advise the tooling for this project is almost complete and we will have the tooling samples before Chinese New Year in early Feb.
If only minor adjustments are required, decorated running samples will be available sometime during March and on acceptance production will commence, followed by the 2400 class project.
We will again be expecting to lift the bar by producing an even better diesel loco than our top model ‘L’ Class.

XPL / END ISSUES
Just an update on the Xplorer/Endeavour.
During our visit to our Factory in November we held extensive discussions on this vexing problem. Unfortunately, the problem has been compounded by our former manufacturing company Run East short delivering on a number of molds, including the chasis molds.
Through negotiation and a visit to the Run East factory we have managed to locate one mold which has some chasis tooling.
This tooling will be tested shortly to determine which chasis molds need to be remade and at that time we will be testing the design of the molds for strength with quality dicast material.
We will make new painted chasis’ without the underbody detail and then determine how we can work with our customers to replace the existing chasis’.
