GOLD COAST EXHIBITION

The Gold Coast Exhibition is on this weekend. Southern Rail will be represented by PGC Scale Models & Black Diamond Models at STAND 11.  Phil Hadley & Glenn Wright will be carrying the flag along with Barry Spencer & Bob Richardson. Drop over & see the boys. Unfortunately the Rocket is a bit slow & can’t be there.

XPLORERS & ENDEAVOURS

Apart from a few stragglers all the Xplorer & Endeavour models have been delivered. The models have been very well received and the team at Southern Rail would like to thank the many customers who have taken the time to compliment us on a fine model.

FUEL DEPOT

We are delighted to advise that the Fuel Depot is on the water and should arrive in two weeks with distribution taking place the week after.

ALY’s

We are also pleased to advise that the ALY main shipment will ship on the 25^Th July. We apologise for the slow delivery due to the many decorations we have undertaken with this model. Like the VAK/VGK project we just don’t supply a decal sheet of numbers for the customer to fiddle with, Southern Rail goes all the way. Two versions, two gauges , 36 numbers, 12 special graphics, super detailed & lettered – all beautifully pad printed + some super-duper sheds – every layout should have a shed of 2.

VICTORIAN/ SA RAIL TANK CARS

Now very much behind schedule due to some specific tooling requirements, these will not be on time for the Caulfield Exhibition and will now arrive probably in time for Liverpool. Bad timing we know but this unfortunately is beyond our control. We anticipate the test shots to be available for the Exhibition.

V/Locity

Work continues on the Vlocity sets which are also experiencing the same delays as the tank cars. With the release of the Xplorers one thing is for sure, Victorian modellers will have an absolutely superbly detailed model with some fine tuning to the operational qualities ensuring an even better model than the Xplorers. Unconfirmed delivery at this time will be early 2014
