2300 & 2170 CLASS PRODUCTION
2311D BANANA LIVERY – VERSION 2 in our 2300 CLASS SERIES
PRODUCTION OF BOTH THE 2300 & 2170 CLASSES ARE WELL UNDERWAY.
Whist at the factory last week I found a mistake in the handrails of one version. The factory is making a new set of etchings for these. However this will add another few weeks to the production as these will need to be painted once received. Latest shipping date is early October so we expect all orders will be supplied by the end of October.
Please note that all 12mm units for the 2300 & 2170’s are now sold out and there are just over 100 2300 class available and around only 40 2170 16.5mm units remaining.
We have also ordered additional decoders as many of the 16.5mm sound units are sold out due to demand for our models.
We seriously underestimated the 12mm units and sound requirements.
Please don’t wait for the last minute for your 1550 & 2400 series loco orders as you might miss out if you place a last minute order. Pre-delivery discounts will be reduced or stopped on these models soon and then only the southern spirit club car discounts will be available.
Production of the LL Coal Wagons are also nearing completion. I forgot to take photos whilst in China, however the factory estimates that they should ship mid-September and arrive (unfortunately) just after the Liverpool Exhibition.
