2300 CLASS UPDATE
There are still some issues to finalise with the coupler box needing to be changed so that the loco will have the interchangeable ability like the ALY’s, allowing for the correct coupler height for both 12mm gauge and 16.5mm gauge.
There are also some other minor tooling changes and some hand rail corrections to make but I can tell you that I am delighted with the decoration of the models. The paint work is absolutely superb with fantastic fine detail as the photos below show.
Next week we will test the operation of the loco but again we understand the factory was not happy with the PCB and it has been redesigned already.
So, whilst we are not quite there yet, we are so much closer.
THE AUSTRALIAN ‘L’ CLASS
We are simply delighted with the success of the ‘L’ class. Yes, we had an issue with the PCB and we also had a few complaints as well, but I sincerly wish to thank the overwhelming number of customers who have taken the time to both thank us for bringing the model out but also congratulating Southern Rail for a supurb model in appearance, detail and running quality.
Don’t be disappointed, ORDER one of our wonderful models whilst we still have stock.

NEW MODEL + RE-RUN ANNOUNCEMENT
We are delighted to advise that we anticipate releasing the QR National QHAF & Interail QHBF coal hoppers in HO scale, 16.5mm only around May 2016. These wagons operated in the Hunter, NSW for quite a few years
More details and order forms will be available shortly
These models will be released in conjunction with a re-run of our popular Queensland VAK/VGK coal & wheat hoppers in HO scale with 12mm bogies with 16.5mm bogies being made available. The coupler pocket is also being re-tooled to allow for the correct height coupler for both gauges.
Whilst this will be a small re-run, we will reproduce some of the previous, now sold out decorations along with some new variations.
Again, we will have further details and order forms shortly. As mentioned, this will be a small production run so you will want to place your order as quickly as possible.
